When Young’s Spinal Health approached us to refresh their online presence, they already had a loyal local client base — but their website was showing its age. Built in basic HTML, it wasn’t mobile-friendly, and updates required manual editing. They wanted something more flexible, professional, and reflective of the calm, holistic ethos at the heart of their clinic.
From Static HTML to Dynamic WordPress
We completely rebuilt the site in WordPress, giving the team full control over their content while maintaining a clean, modern design. The new layout balances professionalism with warmth, using soft tones, white space, and natural imagery to create a sense of calm and trust — qualities that reflect the clinic’s approach to health and wellbeing.
Comprehensive Design and Content
This wasn’t just a technical upgrade. We created new copy throughout the site, ensuring each service — from chiropractic care and counselling to reiki and acupuncture — was clearly described in plain, welcoming language. We also refined their logo presentation, improved photography, and optimised the structure for better visibility in local searches.
A Platform for Growth
The redesigned site has transformed how Young’s Spinal Health presents itself online. It’s now easier for patients to explore services, make contact, and learn about holistic treatments offered right in the heart of Maesteg. Most importantly, the client can update her own pages with ease — no more digging into code.
At Jonathan Hurley Design, we love helping local businesses like Young’s Spinal Health modernise their web presence without losing their personality. This project is a great example of how thoughtful design and content can bring an established clinic’s identity into the digital age.
