A new organisation called the Porthcawl Mayor’s Fund has been formed in order to support the the mayor of Porthcawl’s chosen charities and the town’s organisations that contribute to them.
The charities it will be supporting this year are:
- Marie Curie Cancer Care
- Healing the Wounds
- Porthcawl Counselling service
Jonathan Hurley has been invited to join the group as design consultant and has designed a logo which will help raise awareness of the organisation and assist in raising funds for these worthy causes.
I think it’s perfect … some very clever references in the logo – the chain, the sea and sand colours … and overall a very appealing design.
